… a photographer, philanthropist, participatory with numerous non-profit organizations, and was instrumental in the creation and drafting of the Historic American Landscapes Survey legislation. He is a landscape and ethnographic photographer and uses photography, as his primary tool, along with pioneering trends in new media. Tom has dedicated his life through the art of storytelling, to creating memorable photographs and championing environmental awareness.

Formally and informally educated in a variety of politically, social, culturally and art-based environments, born to a creative household and working with great planners, conservationists, imagemakers, storytellers and adventurists; created the foundation for Tom Lamb’s image-making process. He apprenticed with the master photographer, Aaron Siskind, during graduate school, and continues the process of art, learning, compassion and introspection.
